Eagle County Health Order Revised as of November 16th:                                                                                                               

The Statewide Order is hereby adopted in its entirety as an Eagle County Standing Public Health Order. Eagle County will be moving to level Orange on the state dial. Eagle County strongly recommends that all persons assume additional responsibility and employ the Five Commitments of Containment to keep transmission of the illness low. 

  • Face coverings are mandatory in public
  • For indoor spaces, groups of 10 or two households may gather
  • At least six feet of distance must be maintained

Eagle County Health Order Revised as of July 3rd:
Phase 3 (“Revised Black Diamond” in the Transition Trail Map ) of 1 Eagle County’s protocol to continue slowing the spread of the COVID-19 virus while promoting social and economic community health.

  • Face coverings are mandatory in public
  • The Five Commitments of Containment should be followed
  • For indoor spaces, groups of 100 people may gather
  • For outdoor spaces, groups of 175 people may gather
  • At lease 6 feet of distance must be maintained

Eagle County Announces: Effective June 22nd, 2020 short-term rental lodging may resume in Eagle County with normal occupancy levels. Eagle County has amended the “blue phase” public health order regarding short-term lodging. The 50% occupancy restriction has been removed.

Over the next couple of weeks the local public health officials will be studying the data and science to determine if Eagle County is ready to move to the black stage of the transition trail map. If so, gatherings of up to 250 people, with social distancing protocols in place, would be allowed. The county hopes to make that transition June 22 and that final stage will define the local protocols for living with COVID-19 for the forseeable future.

Eagle County, Colorado Health Order

On Monday, March 14, 2020 Eagle County, Colorado announced new business and travel restrictions. These measures are being taken to protect the community from further spread of Covid-19. The standing public health order related to social distancing, gatherings and business operations are as follows:
  • All restaurants, bars, shops, retail stores etc. are to close. The only businesses that will be allowed to operate will be banks, gas stations, grocery stores, pharmacies, and medical services.
  • The Town of Avon bus lines are offering reduced service until further notice. 
  • All airport shuttle service is closed until further notice.
  • All county run buildings are closed until further notice and will be providing services via phone and/or online.
  • These restrictions are in place until April 30th at which time the Board of Eagle County Commissioners will determine the next course of action.

Reservation Change Policy & Safe Travel

Providing safe and clean environments for our guests and team members is always a top priority for SkyRun – even more so today. We remain committed to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness, and want you to feel at ease when you visit one of our vacation rentals. Comprehensive COVID-19 guidance is in place at SkyRun, detailing how to protect against transmission of the virus.


Travel Insurance
Guests that purchased travel insurance should contact the travel insurance company directly for reimbursement options. We cannot cancel reservations that have travel insurance.

Guests Booking with Airbnb
Please refer to the Airbnb change and cancellation policy for the latest information. Guests must contact Airbnb to request a cancellation or change. Please do not contact our office before you talk to Airbnb.

Guests Booking with VRBO or Directly with SkyRun Beaver Creek
For existing reservations made before March 13, 2020 and arriving prior to April 30, 2020, email our office at beavercreek@skyrun.com with the guest reservation number, name, and dates of stay. Our office will reach out to contact you in regards to our updated cancellation policy. We are fielding a lot of questions, so please be patient as we work through our queue.

Our updated cancellation policy is as follows: 

For stays arriving before April 30th, guests will be issued a credit to be used for a future stay in the same property originally booked. New reservations must be booked by 10/01/2020 and the credit is valid for a stay 365 days after the original arrival date. 

If your new dates cost less than what you had originally booked you may add additional nights until the credit is used. If your new dates are more expensive we will collect the difference at time of booking. 

*** Stays arriving after April 30, 2020 or reservations made after March 14, 2020 fall under the standard cancellation policy at this time.

Guests Booking Through Other Services such as Expedia.com, RedAwning.com, Booking.com, FlipKey.com or Other Sites
Please refer to the change and cancellation policy of the company in which you booked for the latest information. Guests must contact the company through which they booked to change or cancel a reservation. Please do not contact our office as we are not able to change, cancel or refund reservations made through those sites.

Guests Arriving AFTER April 30, 2020 or Booking AFTER March 14, 2020
Our existing cancellation policy remains in effect. We will be evaluating our policy as the situation evolves and will update this page when new information is available.
